Be a Part of Scoop for Scoop
Purpose Since Day One…
When Little Man Ice Cream opened in 2008, the name “Scoop for Scoop” was coined from the commitment that Little Man would match every scoop of ice cream with a donated scoop of rice, beans, or other essentials to a community in need worldwide. As our company grew and community needs shifted, the Scoop for Scoop program adapted to the communities’ needs on a local scale while maintaining and developing global connections.
Scoop for Scoop now sets aside a monetary portion of each scoop sold and supports organizations focusing on educational programs, childhood welfare, hunger relief, agriculture and sustainability, and STEAM programs. However, as community needs shift, our company continues to adapt.
In the past, Little Man has supported and visited various organizations around the world from Uganda to Guatemala to Cambodia and beyond. Through the tightknit relationships with organizations such as The Rural Orphans Widows Aid Network (ROWAN), Far Away Friends Uganda, and LEAST Mission, Little Man has been able to take a team of employees to visit San Lucas Toliman and Namasale, Uganda. During these immersion trips, the team identified programs and projects within the organizations that Scoop for Scoop funds could be allocated towards.

Donation request information
Thank you for your interest in Little Man Ice Cream Scoop for Scoop Program. We are committed to supporting organizations with an emphasis in educational programs, childhood welfare, hunger relief, agriculture and sustainability, and STEAM programs.
For each request there is a multi-step process for determining how we allocate our donations. We do an initial review of every request that is submitted to ensure each of our contributions match our mission and vision for the Scoop for Scoop program. For each organization that fits within the parameters of our mission we have a brief conversation around the potential partnership. Then, at our Community Outreach meeting on the second Tuesday of each month, we ask the team to vote on each request.
